WARHAMMER 40K CHAINSWORD

MY TASK

For a school project I was tasked with making something with an Arduino, so I decided to make a fully working Warhammer 40k Chainsword.

PROCESS

The beginning of this projects was the hardest was I had to make the whole shape from wood, this took me a very long time. Eventually I could start adding in the electronics and the gears to make the bike chains spin around. Eventually I got it all working using 8 1.5 V batteries and 2 bike chains spinning around.

RESULT

After putting on all the details which I had to laser cut and 3D print, the final product looked really cool.
