My first game ever made, a simple 2D platformer where you have to avoid enemies to get to the final boss.

MY TASK

My task was everything that did not include coding. This meant I had to make the art and animations of the character, as well as the level design. The enemies in the game were mostly thought of and designed by me, together with the final boss which was our starting point of the theme of the game.

PROCESS

Together with a friend I proceeded to make my first ever game. The process of this game was very slow, as it was the first game I ever made. We started with a wild idea and the scope of the game quickly became to big, but we still managed to make a functioning game.

RESULT

The final results was a short platformer experience where you had to parkour your way through one big level to reach a lever. That lever would open a door at the starting point that would lead to the final boss, which had no mechanic and was just a animated sprite. Overall I had a lot of fun making the game which in turn made me go down the path of a game designer.
